Shoot 4.

For my fourth shoot, I decided that I wanted to do even more experimentation and try out some new ideas to progress my work; for this I decided to use a prism within some of my photos and also tried combining 2 of the shoots I had already done (using fairy lights and using sunglasses as a reflective material) into one to see if the combination worked and why.

These are the images that I took which either didn't work, were images that I accidentally took or did not fit into the theme in one way or another. Some of the images I took were very overexposed due to the day I was shooting on being very sunny and me forgetting to adjust the camera settings for this.

The image above is a screenshot of the images that I achieved from this shoot that I am happy with, as I think they all work well and use the things that I wanted to from the day. Below I have put the images together in sets to show their detail a lot better and therefore making it easier to see the images.

Overall, I am really happy with the majority of the images I achieved from this shoot as I am happy that I experimented with different objects and different locations to try and give the images different feels and portray different vibes. Using the prism turned out to be a lot more difficult than I first thought due to having to hold the camera and the prism at the same time, but I think the images I received were worth the struggle. It was even more difficult to get a photo using the prism and the fairy lights within one shot as I had a lot to hold and a lot to do but again, feel like this was definitely worth it in the end. Using the fairy lights outside worked really well, which I was unsure of as I had only taken pictures using them inside. I am not sure of where I would like to take my project from here as I have come to a point where I no longer want to use fairy lights as I feel I have used them how I want to, but will keep researching different artists and seeing what I want to do next.
